really I'm guessing we really are going to put up with eight of these episodes...

I can't seriously believe the people that say doing this 8 episodes thingy is "art" and that "bashers" don't understand the good in it.

If the series would be 289 episodes long, it would still be stupid, but at least you would know the other material would be included. But I supposed if the novels continue and the saga becomes long they will make more seasons = more money, etc.

I'm wondering what the dvd sales are going to be like.

if the episode continue I can omit at least one dvd since it will have just endless eight episodes on it.
and I'm sure I wont be the only one...they will probably lose money this way..

But Over all, I know I bitched allot about it, but I did watch everyone of them without skipping...and in a way got that maybe they went over bored, so we can have that frustrated feeling that the characters were feeling trying to figure out how to end it...and when it finally ended, there was a 'thank god it's over no more repeats' ..probably how the characters of the show were feeling also.

I kind of liked it how they animated the same scenes and dialogue differently (as an artist, I found that interesting) but as a viewer, the same sequence of events over and over was annoying xD

But I guess it made the ending with Kyon more satisfying xD

I watched only one and won't even watch the ending since I know how it goes. Haruhi does love him too much I guess.

Still, I think it's hyper trolling, if I was a hardcore fan I would be so offended! I can understand the art of it but it's a waste of money and space.

I tried to watch the first episode and I was like, "WTF..." throughout the entire thing. I really did not like it at all... plus everyone in the Kanon fandom is always trying to compare Kanon to Haruhi and it pisses me off.

I'm currently on episode 12.  It's wicked awesome!  I can now sing Hare Hare Yukai  Semi-fluently, and I now have God Knows stuck in my head!  XD  I feel sorrt=y for Mikuru though.
