Apparently 4kids has lost their license/rights to airing and dubbing Mew Mew Power.
I got this information from Hika Yagami. She emailed 4kids and got this reply;

"Unfortunately, you're correct, we do not have the rights to air/dub Mew
Mew Power. I cannot go into the details of why or how, but we do not
have
plans at this time to bring it back on our station.

Thank you,
The 4Kids.tv team"

Though I did like the show I thought they changed the story a little in some places in the episodes.

I believe that possibly they couldn't afford the rights anymore I mean you do have to buy the rights I've heard and then people who watch the show are part of the making of the money and if people weren't watching it then there is no money.

Yeah, Mew Mew Power wasn't smash hit or anything. One Piece is super popular, so it's obvious another company would want to get their hands on it. MMP wasn't a hit and didn't bring any profits in, so another company might not want to waste money on rights to airing/editing the episodes.

I personally it's good. Mew Mew Power wasn't even CLOSE to as popular as Tokyo Mew Mew. (At least I think, alot of youger kids like it.)

You have NO idea how happy I am. I hope Funimation does to TMM what they did when 4kids dropped One Piece and give it a 100% redubbage~ Or ADV, or Bandai Ent, or Geneon (who knows, maybe getting TMM may save them and then, it's NANOHA TIEM), or any other company. Put simply, 4kids is bitin' the bullet...and that is a good thing.

PS. AFter 4kids LOST their rights to PreCure, who has it now? I think Illumitoon does.  Huh

Crimson, I think it's a bit ridiculous that 4kids is either on a Let's Entertain Girls High or a Let's Entertain Boys High. That's so stupid. Not to mention that I can name names of little boys who like Winx and little girls who like Transformers. :: cough :: (Yes, I know Transformers isn't aired by 4kids. That's beside the point.)

This has been a problem with networks almost since television began. In the 1970's, which is actually one of the later examples, a number of shows were canceled only because CBS didn't want to be seen as the network that ran only rural sitcoms. I don't understand why stations can't simply balance things out and, when dubbing, dub so that fans of the originals don't make accusations of blasphemy.

4kids had the rights to PreCure, and now no one does? Shoot. I actually wanted to see PreCure in English.

Doremi's actually not cancelled. 4Kids' site, http://4kids.tv now offers free streaming videos of all episodes of Doremi. They're updating with one new episode every Tuesday. From what I've heard, 4Kids lost the rights to air Doremi on television, but streaming has different rights so they're allowing you to watch the videos on their site. You don't need an account or anything, but these videos are only viewable if you live in the US.
