Least Favorite/Favorite Dubbed Character?

Which character do you like the most after 4kids dubbed them to become more "different" than the original?

I like Zakuro's dubbed counterpart, Renee, because though she's dubbed, I think she's just an Americanized version of who Zakuro was and how she acted. Though there are those times when her lines are crappy and nonsensual, I also like her voice actress, because her voice gives off an attitude that suits the generalized depiction of Zakuro/Renee quite well.

My least favorite dubbed counterpart would be Mark, because though he keeps Aoyama's love of nature, his voice is too deep for my liking. Also, his voice actor's laughing sounds too much like just an imitation. I don't think he does a good job trying to chuckle, or anything like that, towards Zoey. Speaking of Zoey, I also dislike her, because her lines are overly stereotypical prep-like. It's also squeaky, not to mention nasally, because of making it such a high pitched voice. It seems to get even more squeaky when her voice actress decides she needs to kick it up a notch when she squeals.

Mark's voice doesn't sound natural at all. I'm sorry, but the voice just doesn't match that of a 16 year old (who was originally drawn as a 11-13 year old). He sounds older than my 24 year old boyfriend which is just.. disturbing.

Most of the other characters don't have great voice actors/actresses either, but I can deal with them I guess.

I think that 4Kids did a really good job choosing the voices for Renee and Elliot.

I think they rather ruined Shirogane's counterpart, though. Elliot always seems sarcastic and rude. Even when he was trying to cheer Bridget up in the beach episode, he was joking around and didn't really seem to whole-heartedly mean what he was saying. They also tend to cut out a lot of clips of his character - or to change them around so that they don't carry the same weight they did before. But other than that, he still makes for a determined leader. I hope that we get to see deeper into his character later in the series like we did with Shirogane...

I think Renee was well done. She's a lot like Zakuro. I really don't have any complaints on her character.
Sardon... I really like him for some reason, even though he's very different from Pie. His voice makes him seem sort of "classy". I'm not sure.

So, I'm really not sure who my favorite is...

As for my least favorite... I think it'd be either Zoey or Tarb. Zoey's voice really gets on my nerves at times, and I really don't like how she snorts when she laughs... She has the girly!girl talk going on, and it's rather annoying. Does anyone REALLY talk like that? Tarb's voice has got to be the worst... in my opinion. Because of that, he turned from a cute brat to a super-bratty!brat, and I just... don't like it.

I really shouldn't judge on voice, but voice and attitude really sway my opinions.... x.x

My least favorite dub character is Aoyama. I'm sorry, but I do have something against his voice. His voice actor doesn't suck, but I believe he shouldn't have been chosen. If he was chosen to play Pie or something, that I have no problem with.

My least favourite dubbed character is Dren/Kisshu. His voice irritates me, and his jokes are annoying.

Ehe. Actually, a lot of people here talk that way as well.
My favourite dubbed character is definitely Renee. As others have said, her characterization and voice were very well done.
Least favourite - Zoey. All the way. She's just acting prep-like and overly hyper. Not good.

I have a problem with Kiki's voice, but thats just me... her voice is too squeaky at times and I don't really think girls talk like her, sure they talk like Pudding almost every second of the day but neh.
I think I agree with Shirogane Ryou-san with Renee and Elliots voices. But yes, Elliot is TOO sarcastic and nearly never nice.

Still seems like they overexaggerated it a little bit to me. But then, what would I know? I live in Virginia. It could be different other places. But for the most part, I don't hear people talking in the way the MMP characters do.

Personally, I love Zakuro's dub voice. It really fits her, although sometimes, her lines don't really fit the type of character she is. Otherwise, the dubbed Zakuro is great~

I do, however, hate that damn dub voice of Aoyama. He sounds like an old man, dammit, which makes him seem like a pedophile. *cough*

It's kind of sad, but I talk a little like a valley girl, though I don't use totally, and use dude and like a lot. Oh the wonders of being an oh-so-typical-Californian. It seems like the stereotypical preppy person where I live, matches Zoey's lines really well, since they tend to talk more like a valley girl than other people I know.

At first i didn't like  Bridget/Retasu's dubbed voice because she sounded to shy and not as cute and sweet as her original voice. However through the episodes i've grown to like her voice. I'm not saying its the best voice in the dub, but i do like her voice. I also have to admit that i do like Zoey's voice (not LOVE) but like, since she's basically in every episode i've just kinda gotten use to her voice.   .

I do admit they could have gotten a better voice for Mark but here, in australia, people his age DO have voices like his so I don't find it so irritating but you cant exactly call him a pedophile or a stalker since he does not stalk Zoey/Ichigo and he's her age... I suppose...
Unless he's a man in a mask then seriously... that's one messed up dub I want no part of O.o

My favorites would have to be Corina, Dren, Wesley(sp?) and Elliot. I love how they've "upped" Corina's snottish ways, and made her funnier (in ways) than she was. I wish 4Kids could actually have a spot between good and bad, but I guess not. I like how they've made Dren more playful (and his singing kills me xD). Wesley's calm attitude has been kept and so has his sweet nature, and Elliot still the organized, down-to-earth leader of the Mew Project.

As far as voices go, my favorite would have to be Corina and Renee. I think Corina's voice isn't that diffrent (other than the American accent). Also, though Renee's makes her sound way younger, it's still a kind of adult-ish voice that seems calm.

My least favorite voices would have to be Kiki, Tarb, and Zoey. Kiki's annoys me, especially that shrill laughter of hers that comes before every "tamborine trench!". >.> Tarb's just...words can't express my feelings towards it. And Zoey's sounds too high, like the voice actress is trying too hard or something.

I guess Zakuro got the best voice out of all the girls.

Ohhh, you should hear her in the Doremi dub. Her voice has gotten tolerable over the last few episodes but there is that occasional "nails-on-a-blackboard" screech that pops up every so often.

I really don't like how Annice Moriarty tries her best to make her voice sound squeaky. She really should keep it at her normal voice without the squeak, unless her voice is naturally squeaky and can't be helped.

Least favorite? Kikki. Almost no competition. Sardon's is pretty far down there, though. I thought I would DIE laughing when I heard it xDDDD

I liked Renee like mostly everyone else. She's still the same Zakuro we know, just a bit different.

I HATE Tarb's voice. Is it just me, or do you think that his voice actor did Weevil's from YuGiOh! too? He does sound like it.. Also Mark's voice.. it's just waaay too deep and old sounding for him.
