Least Favorite/Favorite Dubbed Character?

My favorite: Renee/Zakuro's like everyone else's! It just...fits her. Elliot/Ryou's voice is okay as well. At first, Bridget/ Lettuce's voice was annoying, but it has gotten a lot better.

Least Favorite: Mark/Masaya's because it is too deep! It seems like he either matured too fast or some old man is in his body speaking for him or something! o.o I dislike Dren/Kisshu's voice too. It sounds like he's going through puberty or something. o.o I always though Kisshu's voice in English would be more likeable than that. I also dislike Zoey/Ichigo's voice. Urg! The valleygirl! xD They messed up Tarb/Tart's voice too.

My favorite would have to be Tarb, although it may seem a bit weird. I thought his voice matched his personality!

My favorite dubbed mew is probably Renee/Zakuro. I think 4kids did best getting a voice actress for her out of all the charactors.

Mark is pretty horrible. Possibly the worst, in my opinion. Though they keep him extra-pro-nature, he is still really bad. His voice, is the worst part.

Jimmy Zoppi actually has a good "normal" voice, believe it or not. For example.... Maruo in "The World Of Narue". Some voice actors just take roles to gain money and popularity, since we don't make much (less than a teacher.... almost everyone has a different job and VERRRY few make a living off of VA'ing), but it's common knowledge to take any role that you can get. Jimmy says he has fun playing his characters, but I haven't heard anything about Tarb.

Anyways, back on subject. I heard the voice actor do a person in pokemon, and dude, whoa. It scared me. x_X;;;

I've hate what they've done with Tart.... he sounds like an old man... he's SUPPOSED to sound kawaii. But I like Zakuro, they did an alright job with her.

My favorite DUB is Ichigo/Zoey (Though sometimes her voice can be somewhat annoying but I'm used to it now... since I heard it so much. ^^; My least is Minto... -_-; I don't like her attitiude but her voice is somewhat cool I guess... >.>; but she's not my favorite.

Personally, I think Zakuro was dubbed the best.  She kept her attitude and still has the same air about her.  Her VA seems to have some experience, even though it doesn't fit as well as it could. But, hey.

Poor Retasu, I think she was done the worst.  Her VA just doesn't have the same sweet tone as the original.  She seems is way too loud to play Retasu in my opinion.

Renee and Elliot definately have the best voice acting. They are very talented and 4kids made a good choice picking these two for Zakuro and Ryou.

My least favorite would probably be Bridget. She acts way to preppy and can sound very harsh sometimes when she isn't supposed too.

i totally luv tokyo mew mew.my fave character is ichigo momomiya.but come to think of it i dont have a fave character in mew mew power.i think it totally ruined tokyo mew mew.when i think of it i hate zoey hanson as much as i like ichigo momomiya.(tell me if i dont make sence.

I'd have to agree with everyone else that Renee` and Elliot have good voices. But I dont like the way they dubbed Ryou all that much. They gave him a good voice, but they made him a bit more of a jerk then he is in the original. My favorite would have to be Renee` They didnt change her personality around that much as with some of the other characters.

And Mark! *shutters* his voice scares me. He sounds like a 45 year old stalker who's victim is Zoey O.o; I think a higher voice would fit him better maybe? close to the one he has in the original.

Zoey's voice ticks meh off every time I hear it.  So do Corina's, Bridget's, Tarb's and Dren's.  Wesley sounds like a cheerful geek.  His voice is also too high. (" Hi, it's me!  Well, not really me, a machine!  Leave a message after the beep!"  Seriously... O________o

Favorite is Renee.  I think her voice is decent.

Least favorite is a tie between Mark and all the aliens.  I swear, I can't stand those voices...

Renee's voice sounds very similar to her personality. It sounds cold and very mature. Just like her personality.

The worse I have to say is Mark. He's suppose to be gentle not old.

That would be Jason Griffith, who doesn't bring quite as much enthusiasm to the role of the energetic, adrenaline-charged Sonic the Hedgehog.  Sega recently dumped their entire cast of voice actors in exchange for the 4kids group to promote stronger ties between the games ands sonic x cartoon.

Most of the Sonic community is pretty annoyed with the change.


Anyway, mew voices.  Not much to add, Renee is certainly among the strongest of the cast members and true to the original, though after seeing the episode where she fights Corina, (and admits she's afraid of fighting the aliens) I get the feeling the translators are trying to make Renee a little less invincible, and more sympathetic through vulnerability.  I think Mollie Weaver is still spot-on terrific.


The weakest is definetly Tarb.  Everyone here has seen "Austin Powers 3" where Danny Devito makes a cameo as Mini-Me, right?  That's basically the image that comes to mind everytime I here Jimmy Zoppi give his chops a try at a child's voice.
I would really love to here this wonderful "regular voice" Mr. Zoppi has.  He pretty much butchered his character from Sonic X by turning Vector - one of those gentle giant characters: gruff, tough, but a loveable Jersey boy with a heart o' gold - into a muppet.
